In 1978, Chlanda’s prolific talents aligned with progressive rock icons Nektar, where he first collaborated with founding members Derek “Mo” Moore, Ron Howden and Taff Freeman to craft the songs that would later grace their seminal 2020 album, “The Other Side.” This collaboration marked a pivotal moment, solidifying Chlanda’s reputation and establishing the beginning of an everlasting friendship with Mo and the band.
Among his other milestones, Chlanda’s journey saw him touring with the revered ‘70s band, Renaissance around the globe for three years replacing Michael Dunford after his untimely passing.
Recently, Chlanda reunited with Mo and longtime friend keyboardist Kendall Scott to embark on a new adventure with their latest opus, “Mission To Mars.” This album stands as a testament to Chlanda’s enduring creativity and his ability to push musical boundaries to their absolute limits.
