In the hallowed halls of rock and progressive rock, few names shine as brightly as Ryche Chlanda’s. A virtuoso guitarist, powerful and sultry vocalist, visionary producer, and prolific composer, Chlanda’s journey through music reads like a saga of unbridled creativity and relentless innovation.As a founding member of America’s trailblazing progressive rock outfit, Fireballet, Chlanda carved his place in the genre’s history as both a masterful guitarist and a gifted songwriter. His contributions to Fireballet set a precedent for the fusion of technical prowess and emotive storytelling that would define his career.

In 1978, Chlanda’s prolific talents aligned with progressive rock icons Nektar, where he first collaborated with founding members Derek “Mo” Moore, Ron Howden and Taff Freeman to craft the songs that would later grace their seminal 2020 album, “The Other Side.” This collaboration marked a pivotal moment, solidifying Chlanda’s reputation and establishing the beginning of an everlasting friendship with Mo and the band.

Among his other milestones, Chlanda’s journey saw him touring with the revered ‘70s band, Renaissance around the globe for three years replacing Michael Dunford after his untimely passing.

Recently, Chlanda reunited with Mo and longtime friend keyboardist Kendall Scott to embark on a new adventure with their latest opus, “Mission To Mars.” This album stands as a testament to Chlanda’s enduring creativity and his ability to push musical boundaries to their absolute limits.

Chlanda’s talents extend beyond the stage and into the realms of cinema, where he emerged as an award-winning soundtrack composer. His evocative composition for the film “Key Exchange” resonated deeply, while his work on the indie gem “The Rising” garnered industry acclaim.

As a producer, Chlanda has nurtured the soundscape of numerous artists, channeling his visionary approach into crafting albums that resonate with both raw emotion and sonic innovation. His own projects, including the self-titled “Ryche Chlanda and Flying Dreams” and the introspective “Searching for Something Somewhere,” bear the hallmark of his artistic prowess and are available under the Transglobal® Record Label, distributed through Sony’s The Orchard.
